‘They Left a Stitch that is Sewed in the Skin’ is a photographic series based on my photobook, published in 2023. The project explores the lasting effects of childhood bullying and harassment, and the emotional distress that can persist into adulthood. Through gritty detail and somber lighting, the series conveys lingering grief, tension, and the enduring nature of past trauma.
